Flower Wall Decals and more

Rather than go for the more traditional wall paper, today’s homemakers are applying decals to their relatively plainly painted walls. Compared to wall paper, wall decals are very easy to apply and look simply stunning. As mentioned earlier flower wall decals are becoming mature enough and gender equal enough to be used throughout the house and home, regardless of whose room the wall decal is being stuck in. For example; an ornate all black wall decal of a grapevine or morning glory makes an excellent contrast on a white or cream colored wall for the adults while a jungle motif or clumps of long grass flower decals make an excellent children’s room wall decal. While most people (guys mostly) will be thinking about pink flowers with pink leaves and ribbons, this isn’t always the case. What is important for kids is color and variety not just in terms of shapes also in terms of sizes. If you are shopping for flower wall decals, then try and get the ones that has different sizes or colors as well. The other thing is that you should get your kids involved in the whole decorating thing as well. Believe it or not but once your kids reach a certain age, they’ll have very definite views about what they want and should be able to make tough decisions like where to put the white dahlia flower wall decal. Flower wall decals are just at home in a boy’s room as a girl’s room. Add in a few butterflies and they’re just perfect. Again logic dictates that you need to put in decals with plenty of primary colors and shape variations. One particularly interesting example that we saw was a combination of cut up flower wall decal with teeny tiny hands forming the petals for the flower. As long as you keep an open mind and be creative then you should be fine with the kids. Installing wall decals are about as easy to do as any other oversized sticker and really cut down on the time it takes to make a house look ready. This makes them ideal for the young and trendy as it is a whole lot more affordable than wallpaper and much easier to apply compared to painting on a mural or something like that. |
